Dr Duncan's fixed price private maternity care packages, detailed below, include all antenatal consultations with scans (every 2-3 weeks), delivery (either vaginal or C-section) and postnatal consultations as required.
Dr Duncan is delighted to offer an initial complementary consultation to discuss your pregnancy care and associated fees.
Dr Duncan is on the approved lists for all major UK and worldwide insurance companies and deals with them directly
All of his fixed-price private maternity care packages include:
- 24-hour access to Dr Duncan via mobile/WhatsApp, for any urgent queries or concerns
- Postnatal consultation(s) and scan(s)
- Delivery at The Portland Hospital
- A copy of Dr Duncan’s book, Anything Pregnancy

Private Maternity Care Fees FAQs
Dr Duncan's fixed price maternity care packages range from £9,000 to £12,500 depending on when you start your care. The full care package from 6 weeks is £12,500 and includes all antenatal consultations with scans every 2-3 weeks, delivery, and postnatal consultations. Individual consultations start from £350. All major UK and worldwide insurance companies are accepted.
Dr Duncan's C-section only package is £9,000. This includes the caesarean section delivery, postnatal consultations, and 24-hour access to Dr Duncan's personal mobile. Hospital fees for The Portland Hospital, anaesthetist, and paediatrician are billed separately by the relevant services.
Yes. All of Dr Duncan's fixed price packages include scans every 2-3 weeks throughout the pregnancy as standard. Earlier packages include additional named scan extras - the 6-week package includes a 6-week scan, 8-week scan, 10-week NIPT, 12-week nuchal scan, 16-week early anomaly scan, and 20-week anomaly scan all within the package price.
Yes. Dr Duncan is recognised by all major UK and worldwide insurance companies including Bupa, AXA Health, Aviva Health, Vitality, Cigna, WPA, Allianz Worldwide Care, Healix Health Services, Aetna, Saga Health Insurance, and Freedom Health Insurance.
Individual obstetric consultations with Dr Duncan cost £350 from 6 weeks of pregnancy (including a scan), and £500 from 16 weeks (including a scan). Online consultations are available for UK and worldwide patients at £300. NIPT testing is available from 10 weeks at £500.
Dr Duncan's packages cover his consultant fees only. Fees for The Portland Hospital, pathology tests, anaesthetists, and paediatricians are billed separately by the relevant services. Yes. Dr Duncan offers fixed price packages starting at 6, 12, 20, 30, and 35 weeks of pregnancy, as well as a C-section only package. The package price reduces the later you start care. Packages starting from 30 weeks are £10,000 and from 35 weeks are £9,000.
